Dutch mezzo-soprano Isabel Pronk is completely in her element when she’s on stage. This artistic all-rounder - as well as singing, Pronk presents, acts, directs and makes plays - mesmerises her audience with a powerful voice and a dazzling musicality. In Ghent, she unleashes the Argentinian tango on the audience, with passionate compositions from Astor Piazzolla, among others. In between the tango, she brings the wonderful world of James Joyce to life, with gripping monologues from his Magnus Opus Ulysses.
